This project was probably our most challenging yet for the Easts Group. Easts sought out our expertise to see if there was any way we could deliver a decent outdoor gaming lounge for them on this heavily constrained site in the middle of Bondi Junction. Putting our minds to this challenge, we were able to conceive a large lounge area with openings to three sides. However, opening the Spring Street façade of the club to achieve a compliant outdoor gaming area was a difficult concept that required imagination and all the skills,

tenacity and experience we could muster! As it was located close to the main entrance of the club and right on the street front we had to arrive at an appropriate screening device that provided security, visual privacy and was aesthetically pleasing from the street front – all while being compliant with the smoke-free environment act. A custom designed white powder-coated cell screen, fabricated from steel, ultimately provided the signature element for this project.
